To be part of a community of likeminded people and work with experts in the start up world.
Do you think there's a need for programmes like this for Female Founders?
Yes because you start to acquire a network to support future growth.
Why did you want to start your business?
The fashion industry is incredibly damaging to people and the planet and I knew if I stayed in my role I would become complicit so how could I use my skills for better.
What are you looking to get out of this programme?
Seed round prep as well as help with the B2B arm of the business as this is new and something that could really bolster our business.
What has been your biggest win in your entrepreneurial journey?
Building our community and app as well as making circular fashion accessible to people from all walks of life.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Getting enough money to help grow the business.
Where did you go for business advice and how did it help you?
Accelerators or communities I am part of.
What drives you to make your business a success?
The climate emergency is here, we need to act fast to reduce production of fashion and increase utilisation to climate the emissions caused by the industry.
What advice would you give other founders thinking about starting their own business?
It is a marathon not a sprint, be prepared to sacrifice where necessary.
