Innovation4health design develops and licences Gyrus app system to hospitals and healthcare services to improve workforce quality and efficiency and productivity.
Our mission is to enable all care givers to have an inclusive voice in the workplace by democratising data science using Ai powered algorithm to improve care for population.
Why did you apply for the Female Founder Accelerator?
Female founders are under represented, only 24% according to PitchBook. FA will enable better representation of females founders in Health Med Tech.
Do you think there's a need for programmes like this for Female Founders?
Absolutely, it’s paramount that Females get equal level of access to finance and support network to expand vision and goals led by women as men.
Why did you want to start your business?
I decided to co-found in Innovation4health Gyrus TM. The need for healthcare professionals to have an active inclusive voice in organisation. Post National NHS Health Reviews it was clear that ineffective communication and engagement between frontline and management lead to increased complaints - higher mortality rates and dissatisfied workforce.

What has been your biggest win in your entrepreneurial journey?
Beta Sale to Chelsea Westminster Hospital on 36 month contract to test Gyrus App System.
It was used by clinical teams trustwide. We are now certified and NHS cybersecure to scale technology and toolkit UK first.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Raising capital equity to operationalise current team and onboard new to scale technology across 100 hospitals and care places in the UK first.
Where did you go for business advice and how did it help you?
Usually online via various health tech and capital networks. Linked In is one example.
What drives you to make your business a success?
Improving lives of millions of people using bigdata science and using new secure technology to better workforce patient outcomes.
What advice would you give other founders thinking about starting their own business?
Do not waste a moment, get started and live your awakened dream vision as days that pass do not return. Value creates value and women are no different in creating and leading value in business commerce and innovation.
