Logical Solutions (AV) Limited

Logical Solutions (LSL) offers consultancy, design and programming services for Audio Visual (AV) commercial and residential projects.
We are highly skilled in developing simple, intuitive and bespoke solutions using platforms from Crestron, QSC and Extron. Our target customers are main contractors, IT/AV managers, homeowners and key decision makers in AV projects.
Why did you join the Barclays Black Founder Accelerator?
I applied so I can take the company to the next stage. I've seen the fantastic work both Foundervine and Barclays Eagle Labs have been involved in, this encouraged me to apply to the program.
What would be your desired outcome from this programme?
To understand different strategies in scaling the business and how best to implement these strategies. To also improve Logical Solutions' sales strategy and hopefully grow our client base.
Which entrepreneur inspires you the most and why?
Eric Yuan - even though he was refused a visa to enter the US many times, he never gave up. His professional journey from Webex to being the CEO of Zoom is very inspiring.
What has been your biggest win in your entrepreneurial journey?
Logical Solutions being recognised as a Certified Crestron Service Provider. Achieving this status as a company shows we have a high level of expertise and experience in designing, programming and deploying Crestron systems.
And your biggest challenge?
Growing our client base.
Where did you go for business advice and how did it help you?
I get in contact with older friends/contacts who run a business when I need advice. I also listen to business podcasts on Spotify e.g. the Build Your Own Business Podcast by Andrew Ford.
What drives you to make your business a success?
My passion for technology and the opportunity to deliver a solution which makes a real difference in people's lives.
What advice would you give other founders thinking about starting their own business?
Be patient, enjoy the journey and the process in reaching your business targets. Always remember why you started your business in the first place.
Why did you want to start your business?
I felt I could make more of a difference in the IT/AV industry by starting my own business. I had many ideas and plans that couldn't be achieved if I stayed in my previous role.
What do you do to relax when not working?
I listen to music/podcasts, exercise or watch football.
How has covid made you pivot your business?
Covid has made us strengthen the relationship with our current clients instead of actively seeking to attract new clients. This has led to more long term work with our current clients.
