Mentor's bio
Nadia Crandall is an entrepreneur and investor. She founded Capshore Partners in 2017. Their principal activity is short-term collateralised lending to growth businesses. Prior to this, Nadia co-founded Harvard Business Angels of London. By the time she became Chair Emeritus, HBSAL had built a portfolio with a value exceeding £200 MM, with around 20% of companies showing superior to exceptional growth. During this period, Nadia chaired a committee of expert advisors to the World Bank, advising on renewable energy projects in developing countries.
Nadia also co-founded Postscriptum, a diversified venture business with a broad portfolio of investments in start-up and special situations. She chaired Aldwych Holdings, which develops, owns and operates power generation, transmission and distribution projects in Africa. She was also executive director for Alban Energy and for Continental Wind Partners. CWP continues to develop and build utility-scale wind and solar farms and green hydrogen plants globally.
Nadia manages her own holdings of early and growth stage impact businesses and is actively engaged with several in an advisory and non-executive capacity. She has also given her time as a mentor for the Said Global Entrepreneur Challenge and the Althea- Imperial Program.
Nadia has an MA from Oxford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
