Mentor's bio
Massimo is an experienced entrepreneur, consultant, business coach, and mentor. He gained a professional coach certificate from the NeuroLeadership Institute. Massimo’s coaching is underpinned by 15 years of senior management experience in small to large enterprises working in marketing, sales, IT, and business consultancy. He is the Managing Director of Salus Wellness Ltd, the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Plateo Solutions and founder of BIQ Associates.
Working primarily with business owners, directors and senior managers, Massimo aims to boost performance, set powerful goals for businesses and careers; and support the path to successful outcomes. His sector experience ranges from embedded systems engineering to marketing, business development, project management all the way to mergers and acquisitions.
Massimo has been involved with Cambridge Judge Business School since 2009, contributing to business clinics or as a mentor on the Cambridge Judge Entrepreneurship Centre’s Ignite programme. Over the years, he has also mentored high-tech startups on programmes such as Springboard (now TechStars) and Impulse at the Maxwell Centre, University of Cambridge.
Massimo has specific experience of working with clients in the tech sector. He can particularly help entrepreneurs and startup teams with leadership development, team dynamics and personal growth.
Massimo is both a challenger and drill sergeant to his mentees. He also acts as a sounding board for ideas and a cheerleader who boosts confidence. Entrepreneurs and startups need to set powerful goals, develop, and maintain accountability to reach these goals and achieve the required results. The entrepreneurial journey is always more difficult and takes longer than anticipated but great entrepreneurs never give up. Massimo believes the best entrepreneurs are persistent, driving towards goals, knowing when to pivot, or move on to the next adventure.
