Mentor's bio
Kamilla has been a mentor and a coach to start-up companies and early-stage ventures at Accelerate Cambridge and the Masters in Entrepreneurship programme at CJBS since 2018. Her professional background is in corporate finance, investment management, board advisory services, and lecturing in finance. As a corporate finance professional Kamilla was a Director of Mezzanine Management, a banker with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and Senior Advisor to a closed-end listed private equity fund.
She has held non-executive board roles with various companies, from publicly listed international corporates to charities and not-for-profit organisations. She is passionate about mentoring and advising entrepreneurs, sharing her over two decades of experience and extensive expertise in key business development and value creation areas such as funding strategy, budgeting, financial forecasts, operational effectiveness, business performance tracking, and governance.
Although her expertise is sector agnostic her most recent advisory projects were within SaaS, medical devices, education, alternative proteins, and new materials. Kamilla received her MBA in Finance and Accounting from Columbia University Business School in New York. She has been a UK Chartered Director and Fellow of The Institute of Directors since 2010.
