Mentor's bio
Having spent 16 years climbing the corporate ladders of P&G, Diageo, PepsiCo and Molson Coors I took a leap of faith at the age of 42 and did what I always wanted to do, started my own business in the fashion industry. BWD opened in 2010 on the cusp of the worst recession in history and through courage, determination, many sleepless nights and tonnes of self-belief I have built a fashion brand to be proud of. We won the Drapers Independents Award 2018 for "Best Womenswear Independent" in the whole of the UK and added further awards for 'Best Use Of Social Media" and "Best Store Design" in 2022.
