Black Founder Accelerator
Since 2020, we’ve been running the Black Founder Accelerator programme in partnership with Foundervine – an award-winning social enterprise with a history of helping entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities start their own businesses.
This programme was designed to showcase businesses led by black founders and increase diversity in the entrepreneurial landscape.
Unlocking Growth
Our Unlocking Growth report identified access to finance as the biggest barrier to black founders achieving success. We recognise the challenges facing black founders are complex and work needs to be done to address biases and power imbalances, and improve access to networks and opportunities.
We’re dedicated to addressing these challenges through our accelerator, other programmes and additional support. With these, we support black and ethnically diverse founders by increasing the flow of resources, capital, expert support, exclusive training, product showcases and network access.
