My experience as a woman of colour in the startup world
Nancy Evbuomwan, Strategist and Business Agility Coach, on the ways she has been treated differently
13 October 2020 • 4 minute watch
As well as being a professional Agile Coach, Nancy is a podcast host and a strategic advisor for startups, predominantly with female founders. In this video she discusses how over time being a minority in the startup community became more apparent, including a colleague deciding “to touch your hair because they're intrigued by it without asking your permission” and realising lots of founders had very similar backgrounds.
Nancy also talks about how the Black Lives Matter movement is relevant to the UK startup scene and the importance of letting data inform your company culture.
