This report analyses the educational background of founders at the top 200 UK technology companies to understand the individuals that sit at the heart of the UK’s high-growth ecosystem.
It explores the important role universities play in supporting students to create and grow innovative companies and looks at:
- the academic background of founders
- how the respective academic institutions support founders and companies
- if the academic environments producing successful entrepreneurs are replicable
