When a supplier reneged on its promise to deliver high-tech sensors to tech company Briteyellow, Founder and Chief Executive Fredi Nonyelu decided to take production in-house. Briteyellow’s sensor arm is now a core pillar of the business, helping it provide footfall monitoring, asset tracking and mixed-reality 3D wayfinding applications.
Innovation of this kind has led Briteyellow to be nominated for the Eagle Labs Innovation Award 2020. In this video, Fredi explains why persistence and resilience are the key to startup success. “The obstacles will keep on coming, but with resilience, flexibility and a mindset that can adapt —you’ll solve problems and find a way to keep going.”
On being nominated for the award, Fredi says: “It’s amazing to be shortlisted for the award and I’m really, really excited to be showcased through this great platform.”
