Northamptonshire Partnership Homes
Northamptonshire Partnership Homes (NPH) is an arms-length management organisation (ALMO) that manages the housing services on behalf of West Northamptonshire Council (WNC). NPH was set up by Northampton Borough Council (now WNC), in January 2015, for an initial period of 15 years. Whilst owned by WNC, it has its own management team and Board of Directors. NPH is a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) and a not-for-profit organisation. This means that all income is put back into providing social housing and housing related services.

Advanced Construction Technologies Limited was set up in May 2018 to develop Power-Roof(TM), our innovative structural roof cassette integrating photovoltaics, heat recovery, weather proofing and insulation that came out of two Innovate UK projects. (249 characters including spaces).

Cercula is a multi-award-winning CleanTech working to decarbonise the construction industry. Cercula harnesses the power of highly automated software and the holistic frameworks of life cycle assessment to improve carbon data processes in construction. Cercula works quickly and simply to help developers and contractors comply with new regulations, bid for government contracts, access new streams of funding, and highlight critical decarbonisation opportunities to reach net zero goals. Cercula can save LCA consultants and Sustainability Professionals up to 21 hours of data processing time, and £x0,000ks through their workflow.

Copper & Carbon
Founded in July 2020, Copper & Carbon (Cu&C) is an Energy Tech StartUp based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Our ambition is to reduce CO2 emissions worldwide by developing innovative products and services such as clean energy, affordable lighting, carbon neutral automotive solutions, waste reduction, smart process or even an efficient system that will help shift us towards a greener future.
Innovation is at the core of what we do as a company. The first global issue we will be tackling is energy yields from wind farms which is 25-40% of the designed capacity due to low wind on sites. We are building a powerful wind turbine, called IRIS which can speed up the NetZero ambition by controlling the wind flow, yielding better at low wind and operating beyond cutoff range.

Kamma is a UK-based technology company that uses geospatial data to support regulatory compliance and drive the built environment to net zero.
Kestrix
To reach net zero by 2050, 90M homes must be energy retrofitted per year. But how can we be sure we are starting with the right homes, budgeting projects correctly, and doing the work thoroughly? Kestrix is solving retrofit’s data challenge – using mass thermal image capture and AI, Kestrix visualises how heat leaks from buildings, and provides tools based on that data to inform retrofit planning, pricing, and verification for housing providers, local governments, and energy utilities.

O-Innovations Limited has developed O-Wind, a revolutionary new wind turbine, which can uniquely take advantage of turbulent winds found in urban settings.
The company is UKRI grant-funded and has won the National and International James Dyson Award.

OnGen has developed award winning digital tools harnessing the power of AI and big data to help organisations assess the technical and financial feasibility of deploying a range of low carbon energy generation technologies or energy efficiency measures.
Optimise AI
Revolutionising energy and carbon savings via our patented Digital Twin! We facilitate energy and carbon reduction for the 90% of buildings that do not have a Building Management System (BMS). For those buildings that have a BMS, we virtualise it via our Digital Twin and achieve up to 40% savings.
Preoptima
Preoptima is a cutting-edge platform that integrates real-time whole life carbon assessments and carbon optioneering into the early stages of design. Using sophisticated AI algorithms and generative design, Preoptima offers a unique, iterative approach to designing low-carbon buildings.
Reaforma
Reaforma is making circularity a reality by creating low-carbon construction materials from discarded materials and construction by-products. We are a team of civil engineers, materials scientists and chemical engineers redefining what we know as waste in the challenge to cut the carbon footprint of the built environment.
Remit Zero
Most homes in the UK have a central heating system which provides both warmth and hot water. The traditionally low price of mains gas and the high functional performance of most boilers have made gas fuelled central heating systems the most affordable choice for homeowners throughout the UK and many parts of the world. Gas boilers have dominated the market for the past 50 years with around 25 million of them in operation within the UK. There is, however, an environmental price to pay for this affordability and convenience. Burning natural gas, in common with any fossil fuel including oil and LPG, releases carbon dioxide; the single largest contributor to global warming. The Remit Zero product “cylo®” can replace a gas boiler, without compromise, providing the same familiar functional performance, convenience, and low cost of operation but with absolutely zero emissions. cylo® is an electric boiler and thermal store. The vessel uses water as its only storage material, capable of harnessing electricity from the grid when it is in abundance and at its cheapest. This electricity powers the vessel, enabling it to provide hot water and heating around the home without the use of any fossil fuels.

Tatva
The building industry is the largest carbon-emitting industry owing to both high operational energy emissions and embodied material carbon. This means that the very way humans make shelters in this world is the biggest threat to our civilization. Tattva believes that human society must radically rethink the way it makes buildings in order to successfully navigate climate crisis. By combining ancient photosynthetic organisms with advanced research in biotechnology, we have developed a scalable artificial tissue engineering technology that grows functional living building tissues. We aim to develop a new kind of biologically engineered system of building construction with it that can solve the problems of both building operational and embodied material emissions. Our vision is to transform the process of constructing our buildings from a carbon-emitting activity to a carbon-sequestering activity.

Unbound Energy is on a mission to accelerate the adoption of rooftop solar for businesses by removing the barriers preventing its mass adoption, including its high upfront costs and slow ROI, making it a win, win for tenants and landlords.

Founded in 2018, Unyte Hemp is a UK-based leader in the Industrial Hemp sector. Part of the Unyte Group, the company brings together experts from diverse fields to focus on decarbonising the built environment. With a strong management team and an ambitious business plan, Unyte Hemp aims to be the go-to business for all things hemp in the UK and beyond.
VundaHaus
VundaHaus is driving the decarbonisation of homes by industrialising the process of installing solid wall insulation. Their prefabricated system is installed 4x faster and at a fraction of the cost of other off-site solutions.
Zeta Solar
Zeta Solar is part of The Zeta Group – a highly innovative company started in 1989 as a spin out from Oxford Brookes University. Our latest innovation is the Zeta Solar Tile – a unique (patent pending) roof tile that is easy and quick to install, highly efficient and offers house builders the opportunity to install a complete roof with solar, creating optimum energy combined with an innovative push and click install process.
