Mentor's bio
Morgan is a highly regarded entrepreneur and consultant with 25 years experience in business. Morgan founded his first tech company in his bedroom whilst studying for a PhD and after 12 years of high growth under his leadership, he exited in 2014.
Bringing this wealth of first-hand experience, Morgan now mentors businesses owners from start-ups through to £multi-million companies. Typically focussed on growth and investment challenges,he works for a variety of institutions and accelerators. In one of these programmes alone, the startups he supported have raised in excess of £20m. Morgan is also an alumnus of the Royal Academy of Engineering, holds two non-Executive Director roles, and his latest venture - an AI Startup – has just won Innovate UK funding. Being very familiar with the investment landscape, and what it takes to secure a deal, Morgan regularly assists with common ‘investment readiness’ activities ranging from high level strategy down to the detail of pitch deck slides.
