What is growth mentoring for scaleups?
Growth mentoring for scaleups is a short-term programme designed to help scaling tech businesses overcome specific challenges and seize growth opportunities. We have space for up to 50 scaleup businesses to get three hours’ worth of intensive, goal-focused sessions with a carefully matched expert leader. The process will be tailored to the unique needs and stage of your business, to make sure you get ideas and information that you can put into action.
Growth mentoring for scaleups is available if you :
- Are a rapidly growing tech scaleup with annual growth in revenue or user/customer base
- Have leaders who are facing specific operational challenges related to scaling, or entering new international markets
After you’ve told us what you need from a coach, we’ll match you with someone we think could help you.

What is mentoring?
Mentoring is an ongoing process designed to support you with achieving your goals, enhancing your skills and overcoming challenges. By talking to someone who’s been on a similar journey to you, you could gain valuable knowledge, learn from their experiences and get constructive feedback.
Mentoring is available if you:
- Use digital or technology to operate or deliver their value proposition
- Deliver an innovation driven product
- Are service based and ready to be digitised

Growth mentoring for scaleups
Growth mentoring
To be eligible for growth mentoring, you must:
- Have between 10% and 20% annual growth in revenue or user/customer base
- Have an annual revenue above £1million
- Be at seed or series A stage
- Have specialist teams and employees in position (for example, product, operations).
We’ll match you with an expert coach based on what your focus is. Sessions are flexible and available from January until the end of March.

Carbon13 Mentors are only available to support businesses that are within Climate and Nature Innovation, or have the potential to remove up to 10million tonnes of CO2e per annum once they have scaled their solution.

CodeBase mentors are best placed to support businesses that are explicitly building a software product. The product could be an app, a platform or a piece of software partnered with an element of hardware.
