Government guidance has been updated to reflect changes to the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme, the European Structural and Investment Funds Programme, the Kickstart Scheme, and more.
The most sweeping change is to the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme, with new guidance for those claiming Employment Allowance as well as examples on how to calculate your employees’ wages. On GOV.UK see sections 3.14 and 3.15.
Founders looking to add less than 29 jobs to a successful Kickstart Scheme application, which provides business funding for those that create new job placements for 16 to 24-year-olds at risk of long term unemployment, can read the latest guidance here.
Here you can find out how the regions are allocating the business support packages to those impacted by the January 2021 lockdown.
The government has also updated a Q&A on the European Structural and Investment Funds Programme for participants impacted by Covid-19, providing clarity on a “range of existing questions”. Look for January dates to see which questions have been updated.
Finally, a new YouTube video has been posted exploring the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme Grant Extension, and there’s also updated guidance for business closures following the latest lockdown.
