Dee Caffari has sailed around the world. Twice. One voyage, to become the first woman to circumnavigate against the prevailing winds, took an exhausting six months. Throughout that time she had to lead a team based thousands of miles away back at her race HQ. She had to make the key decisions, manage morale, set objectives and ensure there was harmony and a shared vision.
