Our Tech in the UK 2024 – Innovation Nation report, has been published in partnership with Beauhurst and is funded by the UK Government. This report provides an insight into the nation’s spread of high-growth tech companies, investment and grant provision, a detailed profile of cities across the UK and detailed survey analysis.
Overall, the sentiment within the UK tech sector, is one of positive growth, strength and increased business resilience. England has continued on as the UK’s largest and most resilient hub, for high-growth business growth. London, Cambridge and Manchester, remain key centres for innovation, with resilience reflected across a wide number of other regions.
In Scotland the tech ecosystem continues to expand with support from key organisations and universities, playing a key role in commercialising research, driving innovation and providing a future pipeline of talent. Wales has also seen an increase in the volume of high-growth companies that it hosts, with Northern Ireland standing out for its maintenance of strong funding levels across 2024.
