From Monday, 9 November – Friday, 13 November, we hosted a series of international virtual events across five regions that are leading the way in Games and Esports. These events aimed to give you the opportunity to hear from some of the world’s leading Games and Esports brands as well as showcasing local studios. Below is each of the sessions that made up Spotlight on the US.





Epic Games

How the Unreal Engine is powering enterprise

Simon has amassed over two decades of experience within the video games industry, and has spent the last nine years focusing on visualisation solutions within the automotive, industrial and aviation sectors.

As a seasoned professional he joined Epic Games at the end of 2015 and now leads the European Enterprise division, focusing on building a strong Unreal Engine presence within key industrial verticals, as well as ensuring that the established client base receives the absolute best in customer support and technical assistance. 

Simon has built a strong European team around him that will enable Unreal Engine to continue to be the real-time visualisation solution of choice within the enterprise sector



In Conversation with Abubakar Salim

Abubakar Salim
Actor and Producer


Abu is a BAFTA nominated actor who has recently starred in the coveted role of 'Father' in Ridley Scott's 10 part sci-fi drama series RAISED BY WOLVES, which premiered on HBO Max.

Earlier this year, Salim launched a production company Silver Rain Productions with the intent to produce projects that will allow audiences to see themselves represented in media and feel empowered to share their story.

With over 10 + years serving as a senior leader and operator in the sports, esports and media industry, Prindiville has established himself as an innovator and visionary

Heather (Sapphire) Garozzo
Vice President of Talent


As the Vice President of Talent, Heather is responsible for recruiting content creators and players, as well as executing marketing, media and content engagement strategies to grow each talent's personal brand as part of the 17-year old esports organization, acquired by Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment in 2016. Garozzo, a former ESL and ELEAGUE In-Game Director, had previously served as Dignitas’ Vice President of Marketing and Dignitas’ Director of Fan Engagement, where her efforts resulted in a 90% increase in the team’s livestream viewership and 20% plus increase in social media engagement.
