Events and Barclays Eagle Lab are run by Barclays Bank UK PLC ("we", "us", "our" or “Barclays”). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 9740322 and have our registered office at 1 Churchill Place, London E14 5HP. We are authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority (Financial Services Register number: 759676).
2. Acceptance of these terms
References to "you" or "your" are references to any individual or business attending an Event.
We recommend that you print a copy of these terms for future reference.
3. Other terms that may apply to you
Please note that these terms will apply in addition to:

4. Queries & Complaints
We may update and change our Website from time to time to reflect changes to our offering, our users' needs, our business priorities or for any other reason.
You agree that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any such change, suspension or withdrawal of our Website.
5. When and how to pay
All fees are payable in advance through the Booking Platform.
6. When you book
You should book your Event through the Booking Platform.
All of our Events will be hosted at Barclays Eagle Labs. The Event is attended by a number of other attendees and is intended to be interactive. The content may therefore be influenced by attendee participation. The presenter may focus on certain elements of the Event content as a result of such participation.
Information and content that you share at an Event may be seen by other attendees at the Event.
You agree that we shall not be under any obligation of confidentiality to you regarding any information or content shared at an Event, unless agreed otherwise between us in writing or as required by law, therefore you should not share any information which is confidential or sensitive in nature.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
At an Event, we may provide you with or display to you certain software technology, documents, intellectual property and/or other material and content (i) created by or owned by us or (ii) owned by a third party (“Content”). The Content is provided to you solely for your internal benefit and use at the Event. We accept no responsibility or liability for damage arising from any other use or purpose. The Content is not intended to be relied upon by any other person and you agree to not redistribute, disseminate, syndicate or provide access to the Content in electronic or any other form to any other third party.
To the extent the provision of the Event involves our use of your Intellectual Property Rights (if any), you hereby grant to us a non-exclusive, royalty free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable licence, with the right to grant sub-licences to our Affiliates, to use your Intellectual Property Rights.
9. Our responsibility for loss or damage suffered by you
Whether you are a consumer or a business user:
We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
To the extent permissible by law, we exclude all implied conditions, warranties, representations or other terms that may apply to the Event or any Content provided to you.
We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, where this arises under or in connection with:
your attendance at, or inability to attend, the Event;
your use of, or reliance on, any Content provided at the Event;
your contact with other attendees at the Event;
your use of or reliance on any advice or guidance offered by presenters of the Event;
our cancellation of an Event without notice;
your business decisions or any specific courses of actions you choose to make, as a result of attending an Event;
the suitability of the Event for your purposes; or
your use, subsequent use or intended use of the Event,
in particular, if:
- you lose anything you bring to or make in the Eagle Lab or it is damaged;
you cannot access the Eagle Labs for any reason;
you don’t receive a notification or other message in time, through the Booking Platform or otherwise;
any device, hardware or software you use with Eagle Labs is damaged or corrupted or doesn’t work;
the Event or Eagle Lab doesn’t meet your requirements (or any equipment or software in the Eagle Labs contains errors or defects) or we don’t act to address this;
you’re not happy with a service you get from someone else, they don’t perform as you expect or cause you harm; or
we’re prevented from providing any Event in part or in full because of something someone else does.
If you are a consumer user (meaning that you are attending an Event for purposes that are wholly or mainly outside of a trade, business, craft or profession) please note that if you are a consumer, attendance at an Event is for personal use only. You agree not to use the Event for any commercial or business purposes.
10. What else you need to know
Changes to these terms and conditions
Cancellation of your attendance at an Event
You are under no obligation to attend an Event. If you are no longer able to attend an Event, you may request a refund in accordance with our refund policy below.
We may cancel the Event without prior notice for any reason, although we will always try to give you notice of a cancellation as soon as we are able to prior to the Event.
you put us in a position where we might break a law, regulation, code or other duty that applies to us or you do not obey with any laws or regulations that apply to you;
you give us any false information at any time;
you commit (or attempt) fraud against us or someone else;
you use (or allow someone else to use) your membership, access to the Eagle Lab or any equipment illegally or for criminal activity;
you inappropriately provide someone else with access to the Barclays Eagle Lab;
you behave in a threatening, disruptive or abusive manner to our staff or other users; or
you fail to comply with anything our staff tell you to do, or not do.
Complaints and your right to a refund
The fees payable in connection with the Event are non-refundable except you may be entitled to a refund as follows:
If you cancel up to 7 days prior to the Event: Full refund less your booking fee, paid through the Booking Platform.
Spaces are limited at Events, you will therefore not be automatically entitled to a refund if you cancel less than 7 days prior to the Event or do not turn up at the Event.
All refund requests made prior to the Event should be pursued through the Booking Platform.
If you wish to make a complaint, or would like to request a refund after the provision of the Event, please contact us through the Booking Platform. We will advise you whether you should pursue your refund through the Booking Platform or directly with us.
11. About Barclays Eagle Labs
What is a Barclays Eagle Lab?
A Barclays Eagle Lab is a place where everyone is welcome to create something, learn a new skill and share ideas. Eagle Labs also contain a Maker Space to build almost anything using fabrication tools such as 3D printers and laser cutters.
Who can use Barclays Eagle Labs?
You will be permitted to use the Eagle Lab for the purposes of attending the Event.
Anyone can use Eagle Labs. You don’t need to bank with us or be our banking customer.
If you’re aged below 18, you must be accompanied by someone aged 18 or over.
If you use the Eagle Labs regularly you can join as a Member by paying the monthly membership fee set out in the price plan.
You can still use the Eagle Labs even if you’re not a member.
You must not access or otherwise make use of the Maker Space when attending an Event.
