Kiffik
Les Lindsay
Email: les.lindsay@kiffik.com
Kiffik have produced a remarkable new technology that will render approximately 80% of all blood test unnecessary. Our technology will enable Precision, Personalised, and Telemedicine trends to develop at pace in the NHS and Globally. It will also decrease greenhouse gas emissions by reducing the need for millions of journeys to clinic each year in the UK alone.
70% of patients enter the healthcare pathway following a diagnostic test. There are 500 million blood tests in the UK each year, and over 7 billion tests in the USA annually. Kiffik’s wearable device will non-invasively (no nurse no needle) extract interstitial fluid (ISF) for diagnostic analysis in the patient’s home. ISF contains more clinically important biomarkers, such as glucose, troponin, creatine etc than blood does. Unlike blood, for biochemistry, Immunology, and serology, ISF can be tested directly rather than having to spin down the blood.
The sample can be analysed in the wearable for single biomarkers, via a test kit sent to the home, at a bedside using a stand-alone analyser, or sent to the lab for more complex analysis.
Our first iteration of the technology will be a series of non-invasive” test at home kits” for a range of cancers, that will first reach the market in late 2026. This revenue stream opens up existing multibillion-dollar markets, and the revenue stream will fund future product development. This demonstration of technology application & traction should lead to an exit in the short to medium term. We are also in discussions with a range of large global healthcare players who are looking to see how our

Economad
Alejandra Mones
CEO
Email: alejandra@economad.co.uk
Ilan Adler
Email: ilan@economad.co.uk
EcoNomad converts organic waste into renewable energy and high-quality fertiliser to help smaller farmers cut their energy costs and reduce their GHG emissions.
Livestock agriculture contributes to more than 15% of all GHG emissions. Annually there is 1.4bn tonnes of manure being produced in the EU and UK, with less than 8% being processed, which equivalates to 600mn tonnes CO2-eq. Farmers are under governmental and societal pressure to be more sustainable, especially with their waste management practices. However, current solutions are not suited for small/mid-sized farmers (>90% farms are smallholdings) as they are too expensive, heavy on legislation, and are inefficient at those scales, especially in colder climates.
Our main product, BioNomad®, is a UK patented small-scale animal waste-to-energy conversion platform based on the principles of anaerobic digestion (AD). Our solution compared to others in the market is targeted to smallholdings, is simple to install and operate (DIY), affordable, functional in colder climates and doesn’t require planning permits.
