Last night saw the first of our new range of frenzy events looking at the demystifying of technologies used in Industry 4.0. Taking the attendees of the event along the journey of Blockchain so far and how it is being used.
The first talker we had was Darren Kis Director at SWAT Marketing Ltd
Darren is the owner and managing director of Swat Marketing Ltd a print & distribution company in Brighton. He became interested in Bitcoin in 2013 and has since taught hundreds of people what it is and how to use it. In conjunction with Coinfest http://coinfestuk.org/CF2018/ he helped organise two Bitcoin conferences here in Brighton in 2017 and 2018 as well as smaller monthly meet-up events.
Up next was Derek Donnellan Director at OpozO Limited
Derek the director of OpozO who makes a unique modular strategy games system that will launch in the UK, then Europe USA by end of 2018. Designing the unique OpozO System and manufacturing of the OpozO Modular Components in the UK. The main focus is Games, but they are also developing a range of unique propositions for Education, Health and Business Communications. Derek explained how the use of the OpozO system could be used in the early stages of deciding if blockchain would or could work in your business.
Next was James O'Connell Solicitor at Mayo Wynne Baxter & Crypto-Currency/Blockchain Adviser
An experienced commercial lawyer from Mayo Wynne Baxter he spoke about his particular interest in crypto-currency and blockchain matters covering HNW investors, companies active in the crypto sector, and those simply companies wanting to use crypto as part of their normal business activities.
And the cap off the evening Jon Harris Brand Director at Omnitude
A Brand storyteller and harbinger of change, passionate about communicating with truth and passion, lover of humans. Jon started Omnitude with 2 others and has become a force for the disruptive technology Blockchain, talking about his work with F1 teams, Governments and others.
The evening was a great success and we ran a panel discussion afterwards, we already have the next six months of events booked for Brighton and will be Demystifying more Technology with our first IOT & Electronics Frenzy being ran on the 31st Jan 2019.
