Sounding Board for Entrepreneurs

Bournemouth Eagle Lab

The inaugural ‘Sounding Board’ event for entrepreneurs and growing businesses took place at Barclays Eagle Labs in Westbourne, an event put together by corporate partners Saffery Champness Accountants, Laceys Solicitors, Barclays Bank and Angels Den.

‘Sounding Board’ is an intimate monthly gathering of business owners, designed to support business founders wanting practical advice on growing their businesses and seeking new ideas for solving common business challenges. The round table format stimulates discussions and open exchange of ideas.

Saffery Partner Roger Wareham commented, “Lots of issues and opportunities were shared and talked about today, the conversation definitely flowed! Businesses found that there are a lot of common themes and issues that are not necessarily unique to a particular sector or industry. Saffery Champness is delighted to be involved in this group.”

Hatty Fawcett from Angels Den chaired the forum and advised, “Being a business owner can sometimes be lonely.  It’s good to have somebody to chew over issues within a safe and supportive environment.  You can pick up ideas that you wouldn’t necessarily have thought about by yourself.”

Concluding Danny Jones added, “We had plenty of interest in today’s ‘Sounding Board’.  There is definitely an appetite for this type of forum to support local businesses in the local community.”

Business owners wishing to attend the next ‘Sounding Board’ event on Tuesday 31st Jan  are urged to contact Bournemouth Eagle Lab to register their interest.
