Sea Change on shortlist for prestigious Charity Film Awards

Sea Change - the documentary film produced by prorofessional filmmaker Daniel Baldwin for the Round Britain Voyage 2017 and Jubilee Sailing Trust, has been shortlisted at the prestigious Charity Film Awards 2018.

The Barclays Round Britain Voyage 2017 (#RBV2017), supported by Barclays collegues and Eagle Labs, was a complete circumnavigation of the British Isles by the Lord Nelson, which is operated by the Jubilee Sailing Trust and is one of only two Tall Ships in the world that have been specifically designed to meet the needs of physically disadvantaged sailors.

Sea Change has been shortlisted, along with 15 other films from an initial 83 entrants, in the Longform - under £5m turnover category.  Competition in this category is exceptionally strong with films such as Richmond Park: National Nature Reserve, featuring Sir David Attenborough, included in the shortlist. We're delighted that Sea Change has been recognised alongside such esteemed film makers.

Key stats from the voyage:

  • 11,516 nautical miles
  • 11 legs
  • 10 inport events attended by 20,000 people
  • More than 750 Barclays colleagues involved
  • 187 disabled sailors drawn from 54 separate charities
