Why did you join the Barclays Black Founder Accelerator?

The reason I wanted to join the Barclays Black Founder Programme is to...

  • Grow and scale my business
  • Be coached by world class scale up experts
  • Be part of a community of black founders
  • Have the opportunity to showcase my business
  • The chance to communicate and collaborate with corporate and investor partners.

What would be your desired outcome from this programme?

I am looking for help, guidance and expertise in order to launch a globally successful business that creates a paradigm shift in the way that persuasion and influence is taught. All delivered on our bespoke, breathtaking learning technology!

Which entrepreneur inspires you the most and why?

William Clement Stone. Because he went from nothing to becoming a billionaire in the world of sales - plus he lived until he was 100!

What has been your biggest win in your entrepreneurial journey?

Selling my financial services business which I built from scratch and making a few million pounds!

And your biggest challenge?

Loyalty. Finding people that are loyal to you.

Where did you go for business advice and how did it help you?

I worked with a business coaching company called E-Myth Worldwide who helped me build systems and processes into the core of my business. Plus I spent some time in the British Army as well as working on a production line of a manufacturing business.

What drives you to make your business a success?

I am massively ambitious and I am a winner. I get my good feeling from helping people succeed and transform their lives.

What advice would you give other founders thinking about starting their own business?

Get your sales right first because otherwise you’ll run out of money! And get your customer service right too otherwise you won’t have any loyalty.

Why did you want to start your business?

Because I wanted to be rich and to have choices.

What do you do to relax when not working?

I meditate, play golf, go snowboarding and I learn. Plus spending time with my kids.

How has covid made you pivot your business?

It hasn’t, it’s made what we are doing more relevant now than ever before!
