Tell us about LettUs Grow
We believe careful innovation in farming can make the world a better place. LettUs Grow is a team of growers, engineers, plant scientists, software developers and business experts, who all care deeply about food and the environment. Together we design and build aeroponic technology and farm management software for indoor and vertical farms.
When did you start your business?
LettUs Grow was founded in Bristol in 2015 by University of Bristol alumni Charlie Guy, Jack Farmer and Ben Crowther.
What's been your biggest highlight?
Completing the build of our research facility at Avon Valley in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Getting each farm module turned on and growing despite what was going on in the world around us was a huge achievement.
What's been your biggest challenge?
There are inevitably technological hurdles as over the years we’ve had to learn to understand our customer’s requirements and needs better, as well as understanding what metrics we’re being judged against as a technology company. We’ve changed paths as we’ve learned more and moved steadily towards generating a product that truly serves our customers.
