Tell us about Fresh4cast
Fresh4cast was founded at London Business School by two Sloan Fellows who wanted to improve the lives of farmers, specifically fruit & veg growers. The company helps them predict their crop with much greater accuracy than was possible in the past, and complements this service with other tools like sales forecast and specialised analytics. In creating this new market for forecast-as-a-service, Fresh4cast has so far achieved a dominant coverage in the UK berries sector with almost 40% coverage. The team is working to expand to more geographies and verticals.
