Tell us about your business.
Drone Ag develops software designed to make farming more productive through practical, hassle-free drone automation and AI technology. The company provides drone hardware, agricultural mapping software and bespoke training to agronomy companies and farmers alike. The business' primary focus is their smartphone app - Skippy Scout.
Skippy Scout controls standard, off-the-shelf drones to collect leaf-level crop image data, which can then be analysed using their custom AI system to check Green Area Index and crop percentage cover, weed, insect and disease pressure, and more. This data can then be used to guide ground machinery and drone sprayers to target specific areas of fields at suitable times, enabling farmers to assess and feed their crops more efficiently and reducing chemical usage, carbon emissions and soil damage.
